A note on corruption!!

HOW TO DO AWAY WITH CORRUPTION IN INDIA It is a good sign of the progress of humanity that people are expressing their sincerity and interest in doing away with the corruption. Only rallies, debates, seminars and observing hunger strikes will not be sufficient. We have to study deep roots of corruption. Corruption appears in its first form as nepotism. Nepotism should be controlled through legislation. Anti nepotism commission should be established to monitor nepotism in public life. Secondly, casteism is the worst form of corruption we have not yet made any legislation to ban surnames based on casteism. Reservation has not yet been fulfilled for SC, ST, OBC and women to provide adequate representation in politics and govt jobs. Thirdly communalism also becomes a strong base for partiality. Partiality is worse than bribery . Why minorities are not given their share in power gallery..?? At last bribery is the most visible from of corruption. Bribery is punishable but honesty has not yet been rewarding. If honesty is more attractive and rewarding, people will begin to prefer honesty. Some other steps are required to be taken. 1. At least 75% education syllabus should be similar throughout the country. Education for all is a distant dream. Uniform education will decrease sense of insecurity. 2. Unemployment is the greatest danger which generates sense of insecurity not only among the youth but also among their parents who want to accumulate more and more resources to ensure their children’s future. Unemployment youth is a burden on the country. They become inclined towards illegal activities. The country has to pay indirectly because of their indiscipline, unemployment and criminal behaviour. If they are provided right to work or right to unemployment compensation that will decrease their sense of insecurity. Even their parents will not feel sense of insecurity for their family. 3. Everybody has a tendency to accumulate more and more money by hook or by crook for old age. Medical relief should be provided to everybody in old age .People will not be afraid of old age challenge. Healthy people are asset to the nation. Unhealthy people weaken country. Medical relief from government to everyone will provide sense of security. 4. In a democracy, people cannot be punished for population increase but they can be held responsible if they produce third child. Such couples should be taxed or they should be compelled to arrange for special savings for extra children. Everybody should be legally asked for special savings for every child through legislation. Balanced family approach will increase the sense of security in next generation also. 5. Political corruption is also one of the greatest catalyst of the corruption in all spheres. People have been given right to vote but they do not have right to representation. Competitive maximum representation method of election should be implemented according to which even the runner up candidates who get more than 20% polled votes will also be sent to Lok Sabha and assemblies. Thereafter, the accumulation of money to get tickets and winning elections through black money will not prevail. Competition of honesty and sacrifice will start among the political parties. The use of money for winning elections will not be required. Somebody can ask that a lot of money will be required to generate these resources. Government has natural right to tax the luxuries of some people to fulfill the basic needs of some others. Electronic gadgets, air conditioners, TV and mobile phones can be easily taxed to collect revenue for unemployment compensation and medical relief in old age. By Dr. B.P. Ashok P.P.S., Ph.D, D.Litt Suprintendent of Police.

Existentialism

Entrenching your identity is the most imperative thing one can think of.To be known conspicuously,we need to embrace the quality of developing a rapport with our beings.Sadly, only 10% of the population is bestowed upon this quality. To averse the acrimonious feelings is a classical art.Every leader has developed this art .Thomas Jefferson,James Madison, and George Washington to name a few. They are responsible for creating the bird's eye-view of the most soaring nation that the whole world trails upon.Indians, well, should be exhorted to learn this quality. After the colonization,India has beautifully entwined different cultures-its own tradition and Britain's vehement culture.Or we can say that we are caught between two different cultures, and there would always be the struggle between wanting to belong in the new land and reluctance to let go off the deeply ingrained traditions .We are still indecisive , let go off establishing the identity..............

Nratya ....giving me exhilaration!!!!!!

I feel traumatized nowadays under all this pressure of medical postings.Cant understand all the dos and dont's of this life.Seems like someone's knitting a big yarn against me.The other day I celebrated my birthday on world dance day.It was all overwhelming and full of vivacious energy.People wonder how can I be so serious of this word called 'dance'but seeing through my perspective its the best gift I can ever give myself.I love art of dancing.Yesterday while toiling over the Hindu newspaper pages,my eyes came to a ravishing halt .There was a dance 'mudra-posture ' and The Great Birju Maharaj was portraying it.Reading the article I realized once again that dance can be the real self -meditation for all the stressed up students and officers.Just reading it gave me a sense of exhortation .Dance is the expression of our body.Grace is the element of dance. The combination of beats and mudras add spice to nratya.Dance can heal all negative vibes.Oh!how I wish to be born as a peacock(hen). When I first learnt that Peacock is the national bird of our country,I spent hours thinking on it why ??I came up with an only answer maybe not because of its beauty but because its an epitome of dance .It synchronizes with our monsoons.I always personify it as me in my dreams!!!!!!

Gynae Overload!!!!

Ah!!Its been such a long time to be on the blog ,no chatting on net,no newspaper, nothing just a blank page scribbled all over with silence.Silence with shrieks all over. Its been really tiring and eventful month. Its really amazing to watch the law of nature and we 'gods' mould the very path towards us. I was a junior doc out there and was all flabbergasted and taken aback by the system of our nature and the system of our hospital.I took two deliveries and felt all elevated. Seeing caesarian section was a treat to watch. There seemed to be three set of armies-Anesthesia,Paeds and Gynae .seeing there adept hands was something i couldnt dream of!!!!!1

Learning Spirit

Today, while brushing off the Sunday articles, I came across a wonderful piece.I want to share it with everyone.....
A group of students once asked their wise old teacher
why he sometimes stood at the river's edge, simply staring at the water.
The teacher took his time and answered:
"Flowing water teaches us how to live:
Wherever it flows,it brings life and shares itself with everyone who needs it..
A River is kind and generous. It knows how to level off the unevenness of the landscape. It is fair.It throws itself over cliffs into the depths of the valley without slowing
down.It is courageous. Its surface is flat and smooth, but underneath it can hide churning currents. No matter how many windings and detour it must make,It never lose sight of its goal;the sea............those are the reasons for staring at the river. It teaches me to live correctly....."

Time out..............

It just occurred to me that life is just like a notepad.Every flipping page signifies our passing age.And every sentence the moment in which we delve ourselves.I have heard and recited so many times that time flies by.To experience that time flies like a Frisbee was very strange.Every moment has turned into gold now.It seems like yesterday was the day when my little sister was born. But,reality grips me over when I watch her becoming a teenager. She was just a toddler and me a growing girl.Shivers run down my spine when I realize that I have nearly crossed my teenage.Responsibility would make me its slave now.Dazzling days of adolescence are being replaced by vile days of adulthood. There is a feeling of cloudy darkness all over me.But,recently I have learnt that this darkness is not for scaring my spirit off.Its for a special purpose. Its the declaration of the ultimate peace. This 'night-like' feeling would give me a different light. This would embark the quality of perseverance and patience. There is a veil of success behind this absorbing darkness.Although my 'time is out' from all those embellished days but surely the time has started for me to thrust myself at world's end.
